Toledo/Granada.

So much has happened since I was in Madrid, so I'm going to post pictures of my journal entries so y'all can just read them. Note: they're pretty deep and intimate and my true feelings about certain topics, so don't judge me. They also mention specific people, so don't worry about it if you don't know the situation. Click them to make bigger!!

And here are some pictures from Toledo!

Incredible view.
Nuevos amigos.
Also made me think of Kendyll An. Hahah how weird am I?!
En la Iglesia de San Juan de los Reyes
Such an incredibly random wonderful picture! haha.

Okay to update even further from my journal entry, we met our host family and they are ADORABLE. Seriously, I can't even describe it. La madre, or the mom, is so cute and tall and sweet and not strict at all. We have wi-fi, which is pronounced "wee-fee" en España, all day/night! Perfecto! We've had dinner, breakfast, and lunch here (in that order haha) already and it's great cooking. Hopefully I won't get muy gordo (very fat).

The dad speaks English, and there are three kids: a sixteen year old boy, a thirteen year old girl, and a seven year old boy. He is so so so cute. He plays soccer and is always kicking the ball around the house or watching "Bob Esponja." Guess what that means? :)

Yesterday, we went shopping down the main street of Granada, and I got a sundress and some flats that were very barato (cheap). Caiti and I are very directionally challenged, we realized, after getting lost on the way home. This city is much bigger than I expected, but our flat is about 12-15 minutes walking distance from campus. Hopefully I can post pictures of our room/house later.

So. Today. I was very nervous. We had our placement exam that tells what classes we will be in for the intensive month. They score you on levels 1-10. 10 is bilingual. 1-4 are classes in English. 5-10 are classes in Spanish. I needed to score a 4 to get into the classes I needed for my minor this fall. (AKA if I didn't score that, NONE of my classes would count for anything when I returned.) We had a writing section, grammar section, and an oral interview. Scaaaaarrryyyyyyy.
But.... I made a 5! Thank you, Lord! I know there is no way I could have gotten that on my own. So my classes will be in all spanish, and they will count when I come back! YAY.

..........

Just returned home from a wonderful night on the town! We saw so many cool things! More to talk about later. I love and miss you all!
