Praise Jesus that my flight was not canceled because of Hurricane Irene!
I had the luxury of sitting by the window and by an empty seat as well. Shengong Wenwu was very happy.
It's just starting to sink in that I won't see my best friends and family for four months. It's a little scary. I can hear students around me meeting and talking to each other that are going to Granada too, but I just can't get into the spirit. Maybe after arriving and settling in, I'll feel more apt to chat with strangers. But right now, I, Tara Northington, want to be anti-social. Bet ya never thought you'd hear that one!
Here's some of my favorite pictures from the past couple of days.
Goodbye partayyy
Our picnic at the Townes
We've had an odd obsession with goldfish lately. :)
My little brother and I.

Well, as I've been uploading pictures, I've made a new friend. Haha. Typ. Maybe the airport in Madrid won't be so scary now.
I love y'all! Keep praying for me guys! Cannot wait to update y'all more about my adventures!

I'm so glad you're already blogging.
ReplyDeleteI hope you start feeling more at ease and make some new friends (of course, you will).
